some good days
Views: 2978

I am happy to say that I just had 3 really ‘good’ days. Therefore, I shopped until I dropped, also spent some time with friends and family.

I even got out for a vette ride on Friday evening! Saturday it looked cloudy, but we thought we would just ride out past those fluffy gray clouds…NOT! It started raining got VERY windy – ugly–so we headed home. After we returned home we sat on our porch for about an hour– the sun came back out, and it got really nice out, soooo we ventured out again to find that the clouds found us again! We were riding through our nearby park and the wind kicked up, tree limps were falling out of the trees onto the street, dirt was flying everywhere,’yes all over the car’! Yikes! I just wanted to GO home. Soooo we headed home, only to find out that once we got home it got really nice out AGAIN! This time I said ‘no thank you’ when Bill asked if I wanted to try again! He decided not to also. Instead Bill ended up visiting a friend (one of our great neighbors) and his wife came done and visited me. Ended up being a nice evening.

Ok, now it is Sunday and we ask ourselves, should we take the vette out to Brett and Amanda’s for dinner? We both look at each other and outside at the same fluffy gray clouds mixed in with the beautiful white fluffy ones, yep just like yesterday. We ended up taking the truck, it turned out to be a perfect beautiful spring day, no rain, no nasty wind, no storms. Go figure??

Back to treatments on Tuesday…

Sue,
Isn’t it wonderful when we get those moments where life seems so normal? Thank you for sharing yours with us!

Hi, I just wanted you to know that I found some good articles about colon cancer that could maybe help you along the way, I’m not sure and forgive me if I’m wrong.

My best friend has colon cancer and had a very rough surgery. She has been on xeloda for about three weeks and has very severe diarrhea. She wants to know if there is anything she can do for the symptoms. She has called her doctor but he acts like she is just wasting his time. Please help if you possibly can.

Ronda, for diarrhea I take Lomotil 2.5 mg’s. I take 2 at a time every 6-8 hours as needed. I take Zofran for nausea. Hope this helps.
