Here it is Tuesday already. It seems that my ‘off’ chemo week goes so fast!
Thank you Mary for the goodies you brought over. And, Gloria thanks so much for potting flowers and tomato plants for me. Also, thanks to Deb and Jacque and Gloria for visitng me last week during my chemo sessions. This helps me so much to get through these long treatments. Janice thank you also for all the grocery stops you have made for us! All my friends are such a blessing to me!
I had a wonderful Mothers Day as usual. My boys are so very kind and caring. It rained all day, but they still found ways to make my day special! :-)
Recently I have become aware of two young people with cancer. One with stage 4 colon that has spread throughout his body, and one with brain cancer. These two people are young and have started a family—have 3 young children a piece. This is so distressing to me. I think and think and wonder what I can do in being a part of their lives in helping them. I do not know them personally—they are friends of a friends. I pray for them everyday, but this doesn’t seem to be enough! Any suggestions would be welcome.
Be well my friends…

What a sweet, thoughtful and thankful post. Happy Mother’s day Sue!
Came to your blog from Google.
While laid up with 10 months of chemo for my fancy Stage IV Hodgkin’s I created an off color cancer shirt site, http://www.ChucklenutShirts.com
Wondering if you could give me a plug on your great website.
A portion of each sale gets donated to cancer charities each month.
Here is an image to use if you decide to.

Sue – Sorry! I should’ve known I wouldn’t have time to see anyone on my short trip to Michigan. I was in late Friday night and out Sunday afternoon. I’m so sorry. I know that I will have more time this summer when the kids are out of school. I hope you’re not too upset. I really want to meet you and talk with you. I’ve told my mother about you also. When the kids get out of school, we’ll be spending a few weeks in Michigan for the summer. I hope you’re feeling well. How is chemo going? We went to the Tiger Game for Mother’s Day and it was rained out. Oh well. Take care Sue.
I mean only respect and kindness with my response to your blog.
To pray with earnest is the most powerful thing you could do for anyone. There is nothing more wonderful a gift then the gift of faith.
