Yes I know it has been awhile since I have been here. Time just seems to fly by so fast. I did another round of my 3 day long chemo’s and fanny pack (48 hours). It wasn’t too bad at all (knock on wood for the next 10 treatments). I was mainly very fatigued for a few days…which I hate! That really cramps my style—you know——got things to do, places to go…etc…! AND, I did get chemo brain pretty bad! How does this happen with chemo anyway?? I know it is real..even asked my Dr. He said yes, some get chemo brain bad. Well, darn it, I hate starting a topic of conversation with someone and then completely forgetting what the heck I am even talking about! I know I have always been a bit screwy but come on! Tuesday I start up again…chemo and Avastin for 5 hours Tues., 3 hours chemo Wed. fanny pack for 48 hours, removable of that 48 hours later. Geezzz, and I wonder why my brain is over-loaded—and cannot keep up with my mouth! LOL!
Hope you are all doing well….spring has sprung here and are we ever enjoying watching all the new buds on the tress and plants starting to show their heads through the soil….just beautiful..Mother nature!
I have yet another blog here: http://cancersucksbigtime.wordpress.com/
Until next time…

Sue,
I always enjoy the sparkle I hear in your words. I can imagine sitting and talking with you and having a great energetic conversation. Our lives are what they are (not too profound) and I have discovered that it is best to just deal with our circumstances and discuss the details as one would any other part of our lives.
I so identify with that chemo brain nonsense. I have been an idiot since this started. It sounds like you aren’t forgetful all the time, but more so when you are receiving treatment. Lucky you. Isn’t spring wonderful? It has changed my outlook and energy. I continue to pray for you and for all of us who are fighting this fight. Hugs, Gaile
Gaile-I have the chemo brain up until about 2 days when I am to start chemo again which is very 2 weeks. And, about forgetfullness! Oh my I have that bad! Thank goodness for stick on’s! They are all over the house! And car! LOL! I hope your feeling well Gail. Please let me know. I am praying for you also!
Sue, After reading what you have to go through, I see that you are a great trooper yourself. I just love your sense of humor and your positive attitude. These things help us make it through. Also, chemo brain seems to become permanent as you get older. I hate that too. Hang in there and keep fighting the fight. My thoughts, prayers and love will be with you always. Hugs, Joyce
Dear Sue; chemo brain seems to be rampant these days. Guess it came from overseas you know how it goes, viruses and all! Don’t feel bad it only makes us realize that we aren’t perfect after all. I see how great your sense of humour is so that must be the trade off. Hope you make it through this next bout of chemo without too many side effects. Keep up the great fighting spirit. You inspire us all. Weeze from Canada eh
Thinking about ya!
Hugs Sherri
