Today was a good day with our son’s and daughter in law coming over for breakfast. Bill made everything you can think of..soooo yummy! Everyone ate too much and we all got tired and sat around and chatted for awhile and then I gave haircuts—one to Bill and one to Brett. They both turned out nice—even if Im not a professional. :-)They stayed until late afternoon. Was fun.
It snowed yesterday for the first time, and today it rained and it is ecky out there. I worry about everyone driving in this weather. Both boys said they were going home and staying in the rest of the day, so that relieved me.
My feet are still really bothering me with neuropathy from the chemo. I went off the chemo a week ago and they are still acting up. Darn! Usually when I have my one week off this clears up, but it got really bad this time with swelling and blistering so my Dr. decided I should have a 2 week break from chemo. YEAH! I hope it clears up soon, this kind of pain is hard to treat, and nothing really helps it (pain pills).
Is everyone done with Christmas shopping?? I think I am, I am sure I will think of something that I forgot, but I did most of my shopping throughout the year so I don’t have to go out in this winter weather. I am such a whimp!

Thank goodness several years ago my family decided to draw names. The family was just getting too large with “kids” getting married and having kids, etc.
So, I have just to get my husband, step-son, and 2 more gifts and I’m always done. This year I’ll probably get a couple of boxes of candy for the girls at the cancer clinic and for the chemo nurses. But then I’m done!
I really appreciate how easy it’s going to be this year since I’ll be taking chemo and shopping.
