Here we are with one Holiday behind us.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with our son’s and new daughter in law. Everyone got together and put on a fantastic dinner. And, Amanda made a killer pumpkin pie! Spending time with my family is the utmost important thing in ‘my’ life! And, they always come through with making our times together so much fun and full of happiness. I am so very blessed.
Now on to Christmas. I did shopping throughout the year. When I see something I know someone would like I buy it for them right there on the spot, and then I stash it away until Christmas. Our closet it full! But, now I can just sit back and enjoy, because I am all done!
I went off chemo for a few days as the side effects got to hard to handle. I need a short break. I have been on Xeloda for over 8 months now, 21 days of each month. Eventually like now we all need a break. I am also going into my one week of the month off so the next 11 days I should be feeling better. YEA!
How is everyone doing? Post and let me know. I hope your all feeling well..

Glad you are enjoying the holidays, I had breast cancer 10 years ago and recovered ovarian almost three years ago. I have also learned to have a life with little stress and appreciate the loved ones. Most important everyday is a gift. You sound great. It will be over before you know it.
Happy Holidays and many more to come. (:>
Thank you monicag and Happy Holiday’s to you also! Be well—feel good—enjoy.

Sue glad to hear you had a good Thanksgiving and yes it’s hard to believe Christmas is a month away. I pray you stay on the road to recovery and you will be felling well over Christmas. Your in my prayers.
I too had a great Thanksgiving my daughter made her 1st Thanksgiving dinner and did a great job everything was perfect. It was good that my mouth sores were gone and I could enjoy eating.
Take Care: Cheryl
Sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving.
And like you I think I’m done Christmas shopping.. Now we can just sit back and enjoy it..
Hey, Sue! Glad to see you got a short break from chemo. Not fun stuff. I wanted to give you the link to an article that was published in my home town about the antioxidants in the skin of muscadine grapes. I read your blog a lot, but don’t usually comment. My mother was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma last year, and in my frantic researching online, I came across this blog. The link for the article is :

She takes this supplement every day and says it makes her feel like a million bucks compared to how she felt before, during all the surgeries and treatments. When I saw that the paper did an article on it, I couldn’t resist sending it along. Maybe it will help you, too. Have a blessed holiday.
