Been, busy this week again. I am getting a bit tired, but still hanging in there.
Last weekend our son Brett married his sweetie Amanda. They had an outside fairy tale wedding. Just beautiful. They had it at the landmark; Henry Ford Estate, where Henry and his wife lived for years in Dearborn Michigan. The grounds were absolutely beautiful with the greenery and flowers. Inside was fabulous. They had 4 rooms to use, so they had odours (sp) in the inside porch, the living room had chairs and a huge fireplace where we hung out, sat and chatted, then they had another room-no sure what it was where the band was with beautiful wood floor and the one whole outside wall was windows and glass doors that opened up to the outside huge patio where they had chairs and tables set up so you could sit and watch the band or whatever. Many people took long walks through their gardens. Then the dinning room was in a wonderful ‘huge’ room that actually used to be their built in (inside) swimming pool. There were windows all across the top of the ceiling and flowered etc…so nice. If anyone wants any pictures to see let me know and I will email them to you. This house is on 34000 acres and the house has 57 rooms… Just beautiful. We had company stay with us that came for the wedding from PA. so our house was full. We had a wonderful time. We finally have another girl in the family! YES!
I am feeling so/so. I have a Dr. apt tomorrow (lupus) and I am still on chemo therapy 21 days a month and feeling pretty good on it. It has its ups and downs, but could be worse. My CBC results are good, CEA is 9. I am doing cat scans in 2 weeks to see what going on.
It is cooling down fast here. Summer is about over…I will miss it! I HATE winter and it gloominess.
Hope all of you are doing well.
Sue
